Is "Elder Scrolls VI" happening?
You're not the only one to wonder about the progress of "Skyrim's" follow up as there have been no news about the upcoming title.
However, according to Bethesda's marketing executive Pete Hines, fans are not to expect the sequel to come anytime soon as the game's developer is focusing on "Fallout 4", according to DualShockers. It has already issued "The Elder Scrolls Online" for the time being, which explains why the company doesn't feel pressed to deliver part 6 ASAP.
Those familiar with Bethesda's SOP would know that the firm works on one game at a time, considering there are only "a hundred and something" staff working on its projects, as noted by Metro.
It may be understood that "Elder Scrolls 6" (or "Skyrim 2"?) will indeed arrive, but it probably will do so after a couple of years, at the rate Bethesda is going. In fact, it's been speculated that the company isn't sure it will work on the "Skyrim" sequel right after it is done with "Fallout 4."
Nevertheless, it will be good for fans of the title to look elsewhere for entertainment and just turn to the game once it finally drops.
Or maybe list all the things you want to find in the game in the hopes Bethesda will take them up once it finally works on "Elder Scrolls 6."
A suggestion by Gaming Bolt involved leaving out the class system, which was present in other "Elder Scrolls" games.
"While some people wanted class systems to be included in Skyrim, it sure seems as though there were plenty of people who were able to find a way to have plenty of fun being able to upgrade any skills they wanted," the site said.
"It makes sense, especially if the next game is indeed another Skyrim that the class system would be left out," it added. "That is where they started making the change and it's where it should continue."
Another suggestion involved improving the combat system in the game by making it "powerful and intuitive as the game's exceptionally designed shouts," MoviePilot pointed out.
The site also opined that the guilds needed to be tweaked, as well as the AI. Further, Elsweyr and Valenwood should also be carried over to the follow up to "get the best of both worlds and add a bit more variety to the dark and depressing landscape of Skyrim."
What are your own suggestions for the next "Elder Scrolls"?
