iPhone 6S vs Samsung Galaxy S6 vs LG G4 vs HTC One M9: Which One's For You?

On September 9, 2015 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, Apple launched two new flagship smartphones – the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Users are advised to compare Apple’s latest handset with some of the top devices in the industry to determine which one suits them best.

CNet reported that Apple introduced the 4.7-inch iPhone 6s and 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus. The iPhone 6s features a 1334 x 750 pixel resolution with 326 ppi. It measures 5.44 x 2.64 x 0.28 inches and weighs 143 grams. The device runs on the Apple iOS and has a 12-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front shooter. The iPhone 6s also has NFC, a 64-bit A9 chip with M9, 2GB of RAM and 16GB, 64GB or 128GB of non-expandable internal memory. It is powered by a 2,915mAh battery.

Based on the same CNet report, the Samsung Galaxy S6 features a 5.1-inch screen with a 2560 x 1440 resolution with 557 ppi. The smartphone measures 5.65 x 2.78 x 0.27 inches and weighs 138 grams. It runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop and has NFC. The device has a 16-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel rear shooter. It is powered by the octa-core Exynos 7420 chipset and has 3GB of RAM. Users can have 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of non-expandable internal memory. The Galaxy S6 is powered by a nonremovable 2,550mAh battery.

The LG G4 features a 5.5-inch display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution with 534 ppi. It measures 5.87 x 2.96 x 0.35 inches and weighs 152 grams. The device has NFC and features Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It has a 16-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The LG G4 runs on the 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 and has 3GB of RAM. It includes 32GB of internal memory, expandable up to 2TB. The handset is powered by a 3,000mAh battery.

Android Headlines wrote that the HTC One M9 has a 5.0-inch display with 441 ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, expandable via microSD. It has a 20-megapixel rear camera and a 4-megapixel UltraPixel lens for the FFC. It is also powered by a 2,840mAh non-removable battery.

Apple has the advantage in terms of the OS, considering the wide array of apps that the company constantly unveils. However, the other smartphones offer better displays and cameras.
