The RPG game "Kingdom Hearts 3" is expected to release in November 2015, bringing back a number of familiar characters.
Master Herald stated that "Kingdom Hearts 3" is well-known to include characters from other franchises in its roster. The Square Enix franchise has the tradition of featuring Disney characters in the game, such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. The game developer also adds a few characters from the "Final Fantasy" franchise every now and then. Gamers have already been speculating which characters will be included in the next installment.
What Culture wrote 10 potential characters from the "Final Fantasy" series that may be included in "Kingdom Hearts 3". The list consists of Chocobos from "Final Fantasy II", Cecil from "Final Fantasy IV", Gilgamesh from "Final Fantasy V", Kefka from "Final Fantasy VI", Red XIII from "Final Fantasy VII", Rinoa from "Final Fantasy VIII", Zidane from "Final Fantasy IX", "Jecht from "Final Fantasy X", Balthier from "Final Fantasy XII" and Sazh from "Final Fantasy XIII".
There are also rumors that recurring series summons, like Bahamut, Shiva or Ifrit, will be making a comeback. There may also be cameos from some characters in "Final Fantasy X" like Lulu and Kimhari. There are plenty of options from the characters of the fourth installment, such as Rydia, Kain and Zemus. Lightning, Fang, Snow and Ferah are also good alternatives from the seventh title. Judge Gabranth would also make a fine addition. Other possible characters include Vincent Valentine, Amarant and Bartz.
Master Herald also mentioned that there are rumors that Captain America from Marvel, Queen Elsa from "Frozen", Darth Vader from "Star Wars", the princes in "Tangled" and a few characters from "Big Hero 6" may also be making an appearance in the upcoming game. Although all of these are still bound for confirmation from Square Enix and Disney, it is certain that at least one Disney character will be joining Sora in "Kingdom Hearts 3".
Based on a report by Venture Beat, "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be playable on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The last time that the Disney/Square Enix crossover franchise came out with a title was in 2006, featuring "Kingdom Hearts II". The game is expected to be announced at the 2015 E3 in June in Los Angeles. There are also talks that Square Enix will be announcing the game at Japan's version of the D23 Expo on November 6 to 8, 2015 at Tokyo Disney Resort.
More details and revelations about "Kingdom Hearts III" are expected in the coming weeks.
