Korean electronics giant Samsung has recently unveiled its first video teaser for its next flagship device, the rumored Galaxy S6. The 17-second video clip was made public a day before Valentine's Day. "I am #TheNextGalaxy. Be inspired by my vision at #Unpacked," Samsung Mobile wrote on Twitter. Watch the video here:

In the video, we hear a man saying, "Great vision, a unique view, that's what inspires me. I am the next Galaxy."

Samsung again provided another hint. On that same day, Samsung tweeted a photo, teasing its fans that they could "find clarity in darkness" through the next Galaxy device. Samsung earlier hinted that the new device would come out at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event this March 1.

Better Camera

Interpreting the teaser and the camera outline seen at the latter part of the video, Android Authority strongly believes that the new Samsung device would indeed boast of its new camera.

Note that DongHoon Jang, Senior Vice President and head of Camera R&D Group at the IT & Mobile Communications of Samsung Electronics, earlier also hinted about their next flagship device's improved camera.

He revealed that they would continue to "meticulously" evaluate and test their phones' cameras, including the one on the upcoming device. He said the camera of the new handset (rumored to be called Galaxy S6) would be "intelligent" as it would "do all the thinking for users." With just a simple click, they would be able to capture amazing photos under different conditions.

"It will demonstrate just how far Samsung has advanced smartphone cameras, and once again will open the creative side of our users for new ideas and new possibilities...At Samsung, camera innovation continues," Jang added. He, however, did not give specific details about the device's camera specs.

Meanwhile, Sam Mobile, citing an unidentified source, reported that the Galaxy S6's new camera would be a 20-megapixel one with an optical image stabilization feature. Its front camera, on the other hand, would also be upgraded to 5 megapixels, just like that found on the Galaxy A series.

As for other details, we earlier reported that it has been rumored that the new device would get a Quad HD (2560x1440) display, the new Android 5.0 Lollipop update as OS, and a 3GB RAM. It has also been speculated that Samsung would use its own Exynos processors instead of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 as the latter has some overheating issues. It is expected that the new device would be available on 32/64/128GB variants.
