'The Sims 4' Gameplay & Update: Tips & Cheats Make Game More Fun

It's not your average slam-bang, action-packed, and loud video game, but the life simulation game "The Sims 4" is still a big hit, particularly among the more laid back and easy-going gamers.

In fact Christian Today describes "The Sims" franchise developed by EA Maxis as an epic.

"What makes it more of the players' dream is the fact that it has not held off but actually boosted up the magic of cheats in its newest installment. It's almost like a tradition," the site said.

Just like its first three predecessors, "The Sims 4" has the same gameplay. Players create a Sim character and explore various personalities which more or less determine how the game plays out. Sims are capable of multitasking too. Their moods can also affect the gameplay.

When the gameplay trailer was launched in August, the game carried the hype: "New Emotion. New Tools. New Sims. Come to Life in The Sim 4."

Polygon states that "The Sims 4" gives players new tools to be able to dominate over the lives of an entire community.

The video game also features new room-customization tools, a surprisingly powerful Gallery, and a rundown of the emotions that govern the Sims' every interaction, Polygon added.

Additional social features have also been incorporated on "The Sims 4" including importing Sims and houses other players have made into one's game, which impacts the world around the player's Sims.

Tips and Cheats

"The Sims 4" also comes with easter eggs or loads of cheats and commands for players to take advantage of and make their virtual lives problem-free, cites Christian Today.

Players need to press 'Control Shift C' to set off a box where the cheat codes will be typed in. When all that is set, players get into the most awesome virtual Sims lives, added the report.

"The great thing about this game is that money is not an object. Players can literally summon money whenever they feel like it."

"While generating a stash of money, players can also avail of infinite consumables by typing 'objects.consumables_infinite_toggle'. But for the ultimate hassle-free life, they can type in 'households.autopay_bills' and have expenses settled almost instantaneously," details Christian Today.

There are also cheats in schools to get good grades. Just key in 'Careers.promote Gradeschool' or 'Careers.promote Highschool.' To transform neighbors or strangers into good friends, players just need to type "soak.create_soak_party_situation" and they can watch themselves turn into the most wanted party animal in town, explains the report.

There are also shortcuts for players who want their Sims to master a skill straight away. There is 'Skill_Fitness,' 'AdultMajor_Guitar' and 'AdultMajor_Mischief.'
