The "leak" was reported by Japanese tech blog Arigato-ipod.com on Aug. 30.
Following the publication on the blog's website, the iPhone 5S name was removed from KDDI. However, a screenshot was saved of the iPhone 5S name on the site.

The report comes as a video appeared online, courtesy of JailBreakNation, of a scratch test comparing the current iPhone 5 to the gold model of the iPhone 5S.
Two tests were conducted on the smartphones. The first involved a coin, and the second featured a knife. Overall, the black model is the preferred choice over than gold iPhone.
Apple is also reportedly set to launch a low-budget iPhone with the iPhone 5S.
According to KGI Securities analyst Mingchi Kuo, the low-cost iPhone and iPhone 5S' introduction will mark the end of the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S this year.
"In other words, the [low-cost iPhone] 5C model will be positioned as mid-range. We forecast its retail price to be US$400-500," said Kuo. "We expect iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 will fall into the price ranges of US$600-700, US$400-500, US$300-400 and US$200-300, respectively, in the new product cycle. Since iPhone 4's specs may not be adequate to run on iOS 7, we think this line may be terminated."
As Latinos Post reported, Apple is rumored to debut the its new smartphones on Sept. 10, with a Sept. 20 retail release date.
