The 2014 NBA draft showed several young talents which is a relief from less-talented pools in the past few years. After the Cleveland Cavaliers won the lottery to get first pick three times in a period of four years, they have the privilege of picking any among the most promising individuals below.

1. Andrew Wiggins

He is 19 years old, 6'8" and 197 lbs. In the last NCAA season, the small forward averaged 17.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. Wiggins is 4 of 4 in the top 10. He has a number of scoring outbursts in college, but needs to be more consistent in his plays.

2. Jabari Parker

Parker is 19 years old, 6'8" and 241 lbs. In his last NCAA year, he averaged 19.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists. The Duke freshman plays power forward. Among the Wiggins and Embiid, Parker seems to be the most able to play in the NBA. He is 4 for 4 in the top 10.

3. Joel Embiid

The 20-year-old freshman from Kansas stands 7 feet tall and weighs 240 lbs. He averaged 11.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists in his last NCAA year. He plays center. Embiid is also 4 of 4 in the top 10. Teams are a bit wary of acquiring him because of his back injury, in a report by Business Insider.

4. Dante Exum

The 18-year-old plays shooting guard or point guard and came from the Australian Institute of Sports. He stands 6'6" and weighs 196 lbs. There is a lot of hype going on around Exum because of his mysterious entry and great showing. He is 4 for 4 in the top 10 list.

5. Marcus Smart

Smart is a sophomore from Oklahoma State and plays point guard. Draft Express writes that he stands 6'3" and weighs 227 lbs.

The fifth spot is changing every now and then with other promising athletes like Julius Randle and Noah Vonleh also expected to make the cut. Randle is a 6'9" forward from Kentucky while Vonleh is a 6'10" forward who shows a lot of raw power and athleticism, according to Bleacher Report
