A Houston Rockets fan crashed into forward Chandler Parsons' SUV on April 14, 2014 just outside the Toyota Center. Reports say she was aiming to get an autograph from the player. Both the driver and Parsons were not hurt from the incident. Parsons was immediately checked then cleared to play, albeit a few minutes late.

According to Parsons, the other driver ran a red light and admitted that the accident was her fault. The other car was small, so only the front portion of Parson's car was damaged, in a report by Triple Double 360

Bleacher Report writes that the fan grabbed the opportunity to have the Rockets forward sign her insurance card, after forwarding her apologies. Apparently, she was more inclined to finish the conversation about the insurance so she can grab Parson's autograph.

After being cleared by the team physician, Parsons played 40 minutes and even managed to score a team-high 21 points. He also had four assists and seven rebounds against the Spurs.

Parsons was recently injured on April 11, 2014 after falling when his dunk attempt was challenged by Corey Brewer in the Rockets' game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He skipped the game against New Orleans on April 12, 2014, after being diagnosed with an injured hip and wrist.

According to NESN Nation Sports, fans and sports experts resorted to social media to talk about the collision. Many social media users talked about the hardcore Rockets fan and even made jokes about the incident. Others said that he might need police escorts to steer clear of enemy fans who might want to add more players to the injured list of the Houston Rockets.

The Houston Rockets is getting better after point guard Patrick Beverley and center Dwight Howard is back in action after suffering from injuries. Fans are relieved that Parsons was not injured by the traffic violating driver. Chandler Parsons is needed much on the court and will bolster the team's performance in the coming playoffs.
