Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose looked 100 percent ready to make a big return to the NBA after the Bulls guard skipped one full season to rehabilitate his surgically repaired ACL.

Playing with no signs of pain, the former NBA MVP showed off his full arsenal of skills in a 3-on-3 basketball game during his visit in the Philippines last weekend.

Rose, who made the final international stop in his Adidas World Tour in Manila before heading back to Chicago for training camp, electrified thousands of hardcore fans in the basketball-crazy nation after participating in several drills and then playing perhaps his first publicized 3-on-3 basketball game since sustaining the injury.

Teaming up with the Tour's 3-on-3 champ from Thailand, Rose exhibited great footwork and explosive moves against a team composed of professional basketball players in the Philippines. The Bulls guard also showed his much improved shooting accuracy beyond the arc, hitting back-to-back treys that served as the dagger in the pickup hoops game.

Even before the start of his Asian Tour, Rose already spent several weeks training in Los Angeles along with his NBA All-Star pals, the Oklahoma City Thunder's Kevin Durant and the Minnesota Timberwolves' Kevin Love.

Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau was the first one to provide in-depth information about Rose's progress from the torn ACL injury after paying a visit in a training facility in L.A.

"What the summer has done is it's given him more time to build confidence and strength in his leg," Thibodeau said in Las Vegas in July, according to the Chicago Tribune. "His entire body is a lot stronger."

However, little did everybody know that D-Rose was actually training with his fellow superstars. Rose, Durant and Love played together as teammates in the United States' gold medal campaign in the 2010 World Basketball Championship in Turkey. The trio also played against each other back in college.

Rose, who recently announced that he's ready to go, is expected to suit up in the Bulls' preseason game against the Washington Wizards in Brazil on Oct. 12.
