FIBA EuroBasket 2013 - Day 1 Live Streaming, TV Schedule, Scores & Results For Spain vs. Croatia, France vs. Germany and Russia vs. Italy
The FIBA EuroBasket 2013 is about to take center stage on Wednesday as 24 of the finest basketball nations across Europe gather in Slovenia to fight for the available spots in next year's FIBA World Cup of Basketball and the title as the continent's best team.
European basketball supremacy is at stake in this 19-day competition in Slovenia. Defending European champion Spain is once again viewed as the team to beat in this competition, but the presence of other European basketball powers such France, Greece, Lithuania, Russia, Italy and Turkey provide a great level of excitement in this tourney.
Like what transpired in the last EuroBasket two years, upsets and shockers are expected to shake things up as dark horses such as Serbia, Macedonia, Germany, Czech Republic and Montenegro look to spoil the fun. Of course, host nation Slovenia will be leaning on their home crowd to give them enough momentum for the tough grind.
Day One of EuroBasket 2013 will feature rivalry games between France and Germany, Serbia and Lithuania, Czech Republic and Slovenia, and Russia and Italy. Spain will kick off its campaign against Croatia while Greece takes on Sweden.
