Hold on now folks, we've got a speculated release date for the Galaxy Note 3. At least in the U.K., one tech blog has said it has an anonymous source that puts the release date "before the end of September."
Geeky Gadgets has the speculative scoop, saying, "According to one of ours sources, who are connected to a major retailer in the U.K., Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 3 in the U.K. before the end of September." They didn't have a specific release date as of yet. Geeky Gadgets said this source has been reliable with release dates and specs on upcoming gadgets before (but always take rumors with a grain of salt).
This would be incredibly fast timing, if correct, because the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to be unveiled on September 4 in the U.S. But if the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is rolling out in the U.K., expect it to be available in the U.S. at the same time, if not before.
Such a quick roll for an expected flagship device is not unheard of though. On Wednesday, LG Electronics unveiled its newest top-of-the-line smartphone, the LG G2, and it is now expected to hit store shelves within the coming weeks. And the Galaxy Note 3 is a much more anticipated product, so getting it out quickly would be to Samsung's advantage. (It would also steal some thunder from Apple's expected Q3 reveal of its new iPhone).
The Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to have either a 5.7-inch full HD display or a full-on 6-inch display, though it may depend on which market you live in. It is expected to have a high-end quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset clocked up to 2.3GHz, assisted by 3GB of RAM. Its storage capacity is expected to range from 16GB, to 32GB or 64GB, built in. The camera is expected to be Samsung's 13-megapixel shooter. Other details are sketchy, but the Galaxy Note 3 will probably feature all of the bells and whistles of the Galaxy S4, and then some.
