Four NBA teams that are looking for veteran help are reportedly interested in signing Antawn Jamison, who is currently weighing his options for the 2013-14 season.

Jamison, who played for the star-studded Los Angeles Lakers last season, is reportedly drawing interest from the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, and the Charlotte Bobcats.

Sportingnews reported that Jamison will not be rushing his decision this offseason. While Jamison doesn't regret signing with the Lakers last season, the stretch power forward said that he will be more careful this time around.

"I think last year, getting the opportunity to play for the Lakers and their organization, I really jumped into it. Didn't really view my options, but this year I really want to make sure I'm going to the right situation, where I have a good rapport with the coaching staff and also with management I'm able to communicate and get an understanding of what they want from me," Jamison said.

The 37-year-old veteran, who believes that he still has enough gas in his tank to compete at a high level in the next couple of years, said that the Lakers was the best option for him last offseason.

Jamison said that the team looks ideal on paper, but it didn't turn out well for them, as they were derailed by on and off-court issues last season, while also being slowed down by injured key players.

"Because it looks good on paper doesn't mean it's the perfect fit, so I really want to make sure the next team I go to, whether it's a one- or two-year deal, that it's a really good fit and we have a understanding with each other as well. That's why you really have to take your time and key into what's best not just for me but for my family as well," Jamison reiterated.

When asked what he is looking for in a team, Jamison, as expected, answered that he will sign with a team where his skills will be maximized, and somewhere that could give him an NBA title before he retires.

"I made the money, accomplished a lot of things individually. I have a couple years left where I can compete night in and night out and really have an opportunity to enjoy basketball and not dealing with losses and other nonsense. I just want to have fun and be a part of something special," Jamison said.

Jamison, a two-time All-Star, averaged 9.4 points and 4.8 rebounds in 76 regular-season games for the LA Lakers last season.
