Wimbledon 2013 Tennis Day 6 - Video Highlights, Recap for June 29: Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams Cruise Into The Round of 16
The top seeds in the men's and women's at the All English Club, Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams, made it look easy cruising into the quarterfinals of Wimbledon singles championship.
Playing under the lights with the retractable roof closed on Centre Court in the last match of the day, Williams won her career 600th victory, defeating Kimiko Date-Krumm - the oldest woman to reach the third round of Wimbledon in the Open era, 6-2, 6-0, finishing with 28 winners to Date-Krumm's eight. William also broke Date-Krumm five times.
"It's unbelievable playing here on Centre Court, closed roof, under the lights,'' said Williams. "I don't think it gets any better for me than a closed roof on grass.''
Earlier in the day, Djokovic put on a masterpiece dismantling Jeremy Chardy 6-3, 6-2, 6-2, finishing with 38 winners and only three unforced errors.
"Everything went my way," said Djokovic, whose chances of winning his second Wimbledon title greatly improved after the upsets of seven-time champion Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal earlier in the week. "When you play that well, obviously you feel great, you feel confident. This kind of performance came in the right time for me."

Former runner-up Tomas Berdych beating Kevin Anderson of South Africa 3-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-5. Juan Marton del Potro overcame a nasty fall - hyper-extending his knee and twisting his ankle - after taking a 4-0 lead and taking a medical timeout after the next game.
"It was really painful. I was a little scared at that moment," said the del Potro. "Now I start to feel something in my knee and my ankle, as well. I will check with the doctor very soon."
Del Potro was not the only highly ranked men's player who ran into medical issues. Fourth-seeded David Ferrer came from a set down twice wearing down Alexandr Dolgopolov of Ukraine 6-7 (6), 7-6 (2), 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 on Saturday. Ferrer needed treatment for blisters on his foot in order to reach the quarterfinals for the fourth year in a row.
