The Cleveland Cavaliers are reportedly trying to work out a deal to snatch Chicago Bulls small forward Luol Deng in exchange for their no.1 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.

Deng has been subject of trade rumors for quite some time now, but the possibility of the Briton to be shipped away from Chicago has gained momentum over the last few days.

The Wizards are reportedly willing to give away their first round pick and the expiring contract of Emeka Okafor (incase he opted into his $14.5 million deal) for the two-time All-Star.

However, the Cavs really want to add a reliable scorer and defender in Deng to their already formidable young core which includes Dion Waiters, Tristan Thompson and Kyrie Irving.

Sources indicated the Cavs could make a deal at draft night, if they feel Nerlens Noel or other draft prospects are not ready enough to boost their playoff hopes next season.

The Brooklyn Nets are reportedly shopping incoming third-year combo guard Marshon Brooks, a source close to the situation reported on Monday.

Brooks, the first round pick in the 2011 Draft and All-Rookie Second team, is being thrown as a trade bait by the Brooklyn Nets in an attempt to salvage a second first round pick in this year's NBA Draft.

According to ESPN, the Minnesota Timberwolves have shown interest in acquiring the high-scoring guard in exchange for their 26th overall pick in the draft.

Brooks averaged 5.4 points and 1.4 rebounds in 73 games last season, though these stats were results of injuries and limited playing time given to him by interim head coach P. J. Carlesimo.

The 24-year old Brooks is seen as a perfect backcourt partner for Spanish passing wizard Ricky Rubio, who likes to play with fast and athletic players.
