Heat Star Dwyane Wade Grants Girl Fan's Prom Proposal

Miami's Dwayne Wade made a local high school girl very happy after the Heat shooting guard made a surprise appearance at the young lady's promenade on Friday.

With the Heat still waiting for their Eastern Conference finals opponent, the All-Star guard decided to spend some quality time with his loyal fan and make her prom the most memorable moment of her high school life.

According to WSVN TV Miami, Nicole Muxo of Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School had invited Wade for a date numerous times, but the hoops star's hectic schedule prevented him from fulfilling the girl's wish.

Increasingly desperate in getting Wade's attention, Muxo made a Youtube video inviting Wade to accompany her in the senior prom last month.

"My senior prom is coming up and I have everything set for a perfect night except for one thing: a perfect date," Muxo said in the video.

Then, the right time came!

Playing with a bad knee, Wade played through the pain and came up with key plays to help the Heat wrap up their highly physical series with the Bulls during Wednesday's Game 6 at American Airlines Arena.

The Heat were supposed to travel back to Chicago on Friday, had the Bulls forced a Game 6, but things apparently lined up interestingly to make Nicole's dream turn into reality.

Wade, rocking a sleek black suit, reportedly arrived at around 9:30 at the LaJolla Ballroom in Coral Gables. The Former Finals MVP was welcomed by Nicole and his classmate, who were all shocked by the special guest.

"[Nicole] She continued to keep going for it - no matter how many times I said I am going to be busy," Wade told reporters, according to the Miami Herald.

Muxo enjoyed the moment with Wade all night at the prom, saying it will be the highlight of her senior year.
