The Golden State Warriors saw the end of their Playoffs campaign following their loss to the San Antonio Spurs in Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals at Oracle Arena. Sadly, their loss isn't the only thing the Bay Area is mourning about. Two Warriors fans got killed in a bloody shooting incident Thursday night.

Police reported a shooting incident that left two Warriors fans dead. On Friday, the Alameda County coroner's bureau identitfied the victims.

30-year old Christopher Beardon (Pittsburgh) and 28-year old Terrence Mark (Richmond) were killed after leaving the arena at around 10:35 p.m. on Thursday.

According to initial reports, the two were on their way home to Contra Costa County when they were apparently ambushed by armed men in another car along the highway of interstate 880 in Oakland.

Authorities said the driver was killed by bullets while the other victim died after he staggered out onto the highway. The victims were wearing Warriors jersey at the time of the incident and playoff tickets were found inside their 2010 Porsche Panamera vehicle.

The Police are now investigating into the incident as they try to track the killers, which were said to be riding on a dark-colored SUV.

California Highway Patrol spokesman Sam Morgan said his officials had already searched for shell casings in the highway at Jackson Street. The Police will also use any information they can get from witnesses and the nearby surveillance video from the O.Co Coliseum.

"It appears that this definitely was a targeted event from the way the rounds went into the vehicle," Morgan told the San Francisco Chronicle. No shots were fired from the Porsche, he said.

The Warriors' season came to a crushing end on Thursday following 94-82 loss at the hands of the Spurs.
