The road to the NBA Title continues Wednesday with more first round NBA Playoffs action.

On Tuesday, the New York Knicks moved closer to winning their first playoff series since 2000 when they beat the Boston Celtics 87-71 at Madison Square Garden behind 34 points from NBA scoring champion Carmelo Anthony, 16 points from Raymond Felton and 19 points from NBA Sixth Man of the Year J.R. Smith. Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 18 points, but the Celtics struggled all night thanks to turnovers and 37 percent field goal shooting.

In Miami, the world champion Miami Heat pulled ahead with a 2-0 series lead against the Milwaukee Bucks when they beat the Bucks 98-86 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami thanks to Dwayne Wade's 21 points. Ersan Ilyasova scored 21 points for Milwaukee.

And out West, the Golden State Warriors tied the series with the Denver Nuggets at 1 apiece when they beat the Nuggets 131-117 behind Stephen Curry's 30 points, overcoming the hip injury to David Lee that knocked the Warriors' All-Star forward out of the playoffs. Corey Brewer and Ty Lawson scored 19 points each for the Nuggets.

The action continues on Wednesday and it begins in Oklahoma City, when the defending Western Conference Champion Oklahoma City Thunder take on James Harden, Jeremy Lin and the Houston Rockets. The Thunder crushed the Rockets 120-91 on Sunday behind Thunder All-Star Kevin Durant's 24 points. A Thunder win puts OKC up 2-0 with the series heading back to Houston on Saturday while the Rockets could tie it up at one game-all with a chance to go back home.

The action continues in Indianapolis when the Atlanta Hawks take on the Indiana Pacers. Paul George's 23 points led the Pacers to beat the Hawks 107-90 on Sunday. Can Josh Smith and Jeff Teague's Hawks recover, or will they go back home to Atlanta in an 0-2 hole?

And in prime time, Dwight Howard and the L.A. Lakers look to tie the series at one-all against Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and the San Antonio Spurs, who beat the Lakers 91-79 on Sunday to take a 1-0 series lead thanks to Manu Ginobili and Parker's combined 36 points.
