Miami Heat vs. Milwaukee Bucks Live Streaming, TV Schedule & Game 2 Preview - NBA Playoffs 2013: What Bucks Have To Do To Stop Miami
The Milwaukee Bucks will be facing the Miami Heat again today for Game 2 of the first round of Playoffs. Can Miami continue the win to Game 2? Or will the Bucks be able to put a stop to the blazing LeBron James-led squad? Read on to see which factors could be keys to a Miami or Bucks victory.
In Game 1, everybody was impressed by LeBron's 9 for 11 shooting. Not only was it because of the very high field goal percentage (81.8%), but also for shooting far less than his 17.8 average field goal attempts. If anything, King James is definitely a scorer. But on Game 1, he took control of the game in more ways than shooting. Aside from his 27 points, he posted the highest number of rebounds for the team at 10, and dished off 8 assists.
If the Bucks want a chance at winning Game 2, they have to disrupt the L-train. Stop him from shooting, from passing and from rebounding. It's a tall order, but what are you to do?
Notably, in the regular season, the Bucks were able to win one of four games against the Heat. And while many analysts believe Miami will sweep the series, all is not lost for the Bucks--at least not yet. The key to the win--Turnovers.
In that game, played on December 29, 2012, the Heat turned the ball over 20 times--almost seven turnovers more than their average 13.3 per game. This translated to 25 points off turnovers favoring the opponent. On the other end of the court, however, the Bucks only had 5 turnovers, almost 9 short of their 13.6 average. If the Bucks intend on winning Game 2, forcing turnovers could be another great key to the W.
The rest of the Milwaukee Bucks would also have to contribute in the scoring department to tie the series. In Game 1, only two payers in the team scored more than six points--Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings. Ten players scored 6 or less in the game. In their previously mentioned regular season win against the Heat, five players scored in double digits. Should they win, a scoring spread-out will be key.
While we can only analyze and predict who will win Game 2 of the quarterfinals, no analysis is needed to predict that Tuesday night's game will be an exciting one. No doubt!
Game 2 of the quarterfinals match between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Miami Heat is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23, at 7:30 pm. The game will be televised Live on NBA TV and online at NBA League Pass (https://watch.nba.com/nba/live).
