The first games of the first round of the 2013 NBA Playoffs were played this weekend and while some teams moved a game up in the series, others find themselves in an 0-1 hole as Game 2 begins for four teams on Monday.

During NBA playoff action on Sunday, All-Star Paul George's 23 points helped lead the No.3-seeded Indiana Pacers over the sixth seed Atlanta Hawks 107-90. Meanwhile, in San Antonio, Tim Duncan (17 points) Tony Parker (18 points) and Manu Ginobili (18 points) all chipped in to push the San Antonio Spurs past the L.A. Lakers 91-79 at home at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Tex.

In Miami, LeBron James' 27 points powered the defending world champion Miami Heat past the No.8 seeded Milwaukee Bucks 110-87. And in Oklahoma City, Kevin Durant's 24 points and smother defense from the Oklahoma City Thunder helped OKC crush the Houston Rockets 120-91.

The action continues on Monday with two bigtime matchups in the first round.

Up first, the Brooklyn Nets look to build their lead in the series when they host the Chicago Bulls at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. On Saturday, the Nets were powered by Deron Williams' 22 points and 7 assists in a blowout win over the Bulls, 109-86. All-Star Center Joakim Noah made his return to Chicago after sitting out with foot injuries for the last few games of the regular season, but even his return for 13 minutes of playing time wasn't enough to help the Bulls. Will Chicago be able to find the spark and tie the series up? Or will the Nets sink the Bulls into an unenviable 0-2 hole?

And out West, the Memphis Grizzlies will look to get back in the series with the L.A. Clippers, who were led by All-Star Game MVP Chris Paul's 23 points and 7 assists when they beat the Grizzlies 112-91 on Saturday in Game 1. The Clippers controlled the boards all night, outrebounding the Grizzlies 33-19 despite the presence of strong Memphis rebounders Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol. The Grizzlies are looking to get even with the Clippers after getting bounced in the first round in seven games last season. But the Clippers have their eyes on the semifinals and a win would get them halfway there.
