Knicks News: JR Smith Is Scoring In A New Song
There's only one thing smoother than J.R. on the court...and that's on your ipod.
While the New York Knicks are frantically awaiting the return of Carmelo Anthony, another Knick is taking the spotlight and at least one fan believes that his moves should be captured in song.
What's greater than J.R. Smith? Apparently not much, according to the artist Milford Jerome who has uploaded the R&B parody "So Right" which is a tribute to the Knicks star with a sweet R&B beat behind it. From Smith's time in Denver and brief stint in China during the lockout to his tattoos, Jerome covers all facets of Smith's history and persona.
The chorus of "I'm so fly, I'm so tight. My game is..so right." will either annoy or bring you into the following of all things J.R. The lyrics cover Smith's ups and downs from playing to even getting cited for driving a scooter without a license. Smith has yet to officially comment on it, but he did tweet "LMFAO" about the song, so he probably likes it.
If you're a fan of R&B, J.R. Smith or just laughing in general, then check out the video:
Knicks notes: The team is hoping the injured Carmelo Anthony is ready to play tonight as they face the Orlando Magic. According to ESPN, teammate Steve Novak expects Anthony to have some rust, but it's not weighing heavy on his mind.
"I'm not trying to rush anything out there on the court," Anthony said. "Just play my game, play basketball, have fun with it and not think about it much."
Center Kurt Thomas will miss two-to-four weeks with a foot injury.
Point guard Jason Kidd is expected to play Wednesday.
