Google Nexus device owners can count themselves as part of the lucky few in the world that receive the latest version Android first. Most of them are running Android 4.2 already, while most other devices are still playing catch up to Android 4.1, and it looks like Google is now rolling out Android 4.2.2 for the GSM versions of the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10.
While many consumers are looking forward to the slew of new high-end tech devices that will hit the market in 2013, there are still many out there with older, incredibly popular devices, such as the Samsung Galaxy S2. Good news for these owners is that Samsung hasn't left them to the dogs, and is updating the handset to Android 4.1.
