**Correction: Premium Suite is not included in the leaked build VRBMA2, which begs the question of whether Verizon will include it in their update.
Verizon customers are usually some of the last (on this planet perhaps?) to get their Android upgrades, but it looks like this time around they may be one of the first. Ahead of its official release, Android 4.1.2, including Premium Suite features, for the popular Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 has leaked and is available for download.
It's available for download now, through the XDAdevelopers forums, where some astute and highly-active Android community members often post firmwares ahead of their rollout. The Verizon Galaxy S3 Android 4.1.2 firmware, VRBMA2, carries a build date of Jan. 19, meaning its a fairly recent development. The poster of the firmware, open1your1eyes0, also went through the trouble of including the root along with the download, and tweaked the build so that users can keep some of their old settings.
As usual with all non-official Android updates, exercise caution. Be sure to read the instructions carefully, always back up your device, and keep in mind it's always safer to wait for the OTA rollout if you're unsure about anything.
The Android 4.1.2 build finally gives U.S. Galaxy S3 owners a taste of what many international variants around the world have had for some time, including some nifty Premium Suite features like Multi Window.
It is a bit strange that a Verizon build has leaked ahead of AT&T or T-Mobile, but this can only mean that carriers should begin rolling out Android 4.1.2 for their respective Galaxy S3s over the coming months. Let's just hope that U.S. Galaxy S3 owners don't feel too slighted when Android 4.2 releases for international variants and leaves them, once again, behind.
