The Nokia Lumia 920 is set to be released in November but preorders are reported to start over a week in advance.
According to The Verge, a preorder date has been set for Oct. 21.
The preorder date is also for the Lumia 820 and HTC 8X.
However, Business Insider originally reported the Oct. 21 but discounted it as Microsoft is holding an event for their new Windows Phone 8 operating system on Oct. 29. It was speculated a retail release will happen shortly after the Microsoft event.
The Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 are both exclusive to AT&T.
Nokia Americas President Olivier Puech stated he welcomes AT&T's decision to offer the two Lumia devices and considers their collaboration with the carrier to be "an important component for Nokia's success in the U.S. market."
AT&T did not comment on a specific release date, but noted it is "planned to be made available" in November.
The Verge and Reuters reported Nov. 2 as the release date, however, WP Central's Daniel Rubino stated Nov. 4.
The Lumia 920 has a 4.5-inch screen, 1,280x768 pixel resolution with PureMotion HD+ display, 32GB internal memory, 8.7-megapixel rear-facing camera, 10 hours of talk time (3G), 400 hours in standby time (3G), and available in black, gray, red, yellow and white.
