The Nokia Lumia 920 has not been released yet in the US, but promotion of the device is already taking aim on the iPhone 5.

Last month following Samsung's "It Doesn't Take a Genius" advertisement, Nokia fans took to the web and created their version, comparing it to the iPhone 5.

The Lumia 920 promotion continued with a new advertisement titled "Time to #switch."

The ad featured a dreary city with people waiting in line to buy a device with the number "5" on it. The ad continued with a customer asking for the "5" device in yellow which brought shock-horror to people around.

The ad's focus was on the color choices of the iPhone 5, which is only available in black and white.

But what are reviewers saying about the new Nokia device that could be another challenger to the iPhone 5?

Auto-o-mobile reviewed, "There is no doubt that the Nokia Lumia 920 is the best out of the Windows Phone 8 handsets announced and it does have specs and looks to match the iPhone 5."

The reviewer added the color options, the design, and "stunning looks as well as durability" as some of the advantages over the iPhone 5. However, an advantage in favor of the iPhone 5 is its "pocketable size."

They added, "Both of the handsets are superb and the choice basically comes down to whether you want Windows or iOS. iOS is the more popular of the two, but Windows is catching up. The Apple App Store is larger than Windows Marketplace; however a lot of the popular apps are on the marketplace already and you will likely find what you need unless you are into a lot of obscure ones. Also it is difficult to resist the Lumia 920′s display and camera."

Over at Tech Thirsty, Divya Puri stated, "Going by my personal choice, I feel the Nokia Lumia 920 scores high over the Apple's iPhone 5."

Puri stated when it comes to the screen, the Lumia 920 fares better, due to the larger screen and high pixel resolution of 1,280x768 compared to the iPhone 5's 1,136x640.

Puri added when it comes to design (color choices) and wireless charging, the Lumia 920 takes the lead. When it comes to the cameras, "both the devices are in A-front."

Mo Mozuch of iDigitalTimes, on hardware, gives the iPhone 5 the better grade. He stated Apple's new A6 processor "outperformed all other processor on the market in three speed tests."

In one speed test, courtesy of BrowserMark, the iPhone 5 fared better even compared to the Samsung Galaxy S3 (International) and the HTC One X (International).

Mozuch, as Puri, gives the Lumia 920's camera a good review, but based "on paper," as the device isn't released yet.

The range of GB models for the iPhone 5 is a positive according to Mozuch. The iPhone 5 offers 16GB, 32GB, and 64 GB models, while the Lumia 920 is only available in the 32GB model.

His verdict, "In my opinion, the Lumia 920 looks to be the more promising phone by taking big steps in new directions because it's not pigeonholed by the expectations of a fanbase. iPhone fans want an iPhone and Apple delivers it, but in the process, leaves itself unable to try out the latest and greatest mobile tech available."
