HTC has had a busy summer, from rolling out its flagship phone across the country, to controlling bad press about the companies earnings, to unveiling the HTC One Mini. Meanwhile, rumors are flying about the phablet version of the HTC One, previously called the T6, and now thought to have the official moniker "HTC One Max."

The latest rumor comes from trusted HTC leaker @evleaks, via UberGizmo, who simply tweeted on Tuesday, "HTC T6 headed to AT&T." No word on other wireless carriers that day from @evleaks, but there have been previous rumors that Verizon has also picked up the new phablet. And if a couple carriers are already signed up, an unveiling can't be too far away.

And that jives with the rumors that the HTC One Max might get an unveiling by the Taiwanese smartphone maker at the IFA Consumer Electronics Unlimited show in Berlin, starting September 6.

At the unveiling, whenever it turns out to be, we'll likely find out whether the rumored specs for the huge cousin of the HTC One are true. The phablet is expected to have a 5.9-inch full HD display, with a resolution of 1920x1080p. At that resolution, it would be matching the HTC One's, but on a display that is more than an inch larger.

Other rumors give it a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, clocked at either 2.2GHz or 2.3GHz, which would put it in the same territory as the Xperia Z Ultra - Sony's behemoth phablet version of its own flagship phone. The battery has been rumored to be 3,300 mAh, which is a nice size for such a large device, and as with all HTC One variants, the Max is rumored to sport an Ultrapixel camera and HTC BoomSound.

These are still rumored specs, so take them with a grain of salt. But stick with Latinospost for more details, especially as the IFA 2013 conference draws closer.
