HTC T6
The HTC T6 and One Max are the same device according to a new release.
It's been a while since we've seen anything new crop up about the HTC One Max, the phablet sized version of the HTC One which many are anticipating to be released before the year is out. But now, PhoneArena has gotten its hands on some information from China and translated it, offering more clues to what kind of specs the new device will have.
HTC has had a busy summer, from rolling out its flagship phone across the country, to controlling bad press about the companies earnings, to unveiling the HTC One Mini. Meanwhile, rumors are flying about the phablet version of the HTC One, previously called the T6, and now thought to have the official moniker "HTC One Max."
Rumors are really picking up speed about HTC's possible new phablet challenge to the Samsung Galaxy Mega and Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The rumored HTC phablet that was called the HTC T6 for about a week, after some possible specs had leaked, but it has been given a new (rumored) name: The HTC One Max. We also have a possible blueprint and some more detailed (but still unconfirmed) specs for the phablet.
When it comes to phablets, size and power are the most important factors - if you're going to use a huge device, it better perform. When Samsung announced their Galaxy Mega in April, the device was the largest of its kind, including the already large Samsusng Note II. But the HTC T6 may be a rival of Samsung's phablet, if the rumored specs are true.
HTC looks to be getting into the premium phablet business this year, if leaks from a reliable source are correct. Code-named the T6, rumors of a 5.9-inch HTC handset are hitting the web, and we've got some rumored specs to show you.
