When it comes to phablets, size and power are the most important factors - if you're going to use a huge device, it better perform. When Samsung announced their Galaxy Mega in April, the device was the largest of its kind, including the already large Samsusng Note II. But the HTC T6 may be a rival of Samsung's phablet, if the rumored specs are true.

Thursday, possible specifications for the HTC T6 were leaked, and while the screen size is not as big as Samsung's behemoth, it's close. Keep in mind that, for the HTC T6, these are rumored specs, and haven't been confirmed, although it was leaked by well-known and usually reliable HTC leaker @evleaks. So far as we know, here's how the specs for the possible rival phablets stack up.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega is appropriately named, as it looks like a mega-sized version of Samsung's S4. This means it looks pretty good. Interestingly, so far, the HTC T6 phablet is rumored to look like a large version of the HTC One, which looks really good, with its sleek unibody aluminum frame. The Mega will be coming in two display sizes - 6.3 inches and 5.8 inches - and the latter of the two is pretty close to HTC's rumored T6 5.9-inch screen size. The Mega's display resolution will max out at 720p, while the T6 is rumored to have 1080p. But over the Mega wins on screen size, if you pop for the 6.3-inch version.

The Galaxy Mega's processor is a 1.7GHz Snapdragon 400, while the HTC T6's upcoming phablet is rumored to be much more powerful, with a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 core. The Mega will come with 1.5GB RAM, while the T6 may sport 2GB RAM. For storage, the Mega might have 8GB or 16GB internal storage, with microSD expansion to 64GB. The T6 is rumored to have 16GB with possible microSD expansion as well, though the inclusion of microSD, if true, would be a departure from recent design norms from HTC. For photography, the Mega looks to be sporting an 8 megapixel camera, while the only details on the T6 is that it will use HTC's "Ultrapixel" technology.

While the Mega will be running Android 4.2, the T6 is supposed to be running the newer Key Lime Pie. This makes sense, since the T6 is rumored to have a later release window, rumored for sometime in the late summer or fall, but, as with all of these details, we'll have to wait for confirmation before we truly know.

Stay with us as more details become available on both of these monster phablets.
