On November 16, 2012, the final installment of the Twilight Saga was released, leaving a void among teenagers and fans of the supernatural-human love story. But 2013 promises to bring some important contenders to fill that void and perhaps allow Twilight fans to move on post-Edward and Bella.

Early next year, two films will hit theaters that have the potential to capitalize on Twilight's immense success. Warm Bodies will hit theaters February 1, while The Host follows a month later on March 29. Here's everything you need to know about the two promising films, and whether they'll be up to step up to expectations.

Warm Bodies

Plot and Cast: Warm Bodies is a horror/comedy/love story about a young zombie "R" (Nicolas Hoult from XMen: First Class) who falls in love with a human girl (Theresa Palmer from I Am Number Four). The unlikely pair's love sets a series of events in motion that somehow transform him and his fellow walking dead to their former selves. The film, which is based on the novel by Isaac Marion, is directed by Jonathan Levine and produced by Bruna Papandrea, David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman. Warm Bodies also stars Rob Corddry, Dave Franco, Analeigh Tipton and John Makovich.

Release Date: February 1, 2013

Will Twilight Fans Like It: While the premise of the movie-human and supernatural being fall in love-is similar to Twilight, Warm Bodies is likely to attract a different audience than the vampire love saga. Unlike Twilight, the new film doesn't take itself or its storyline too seriously. Based on the trailer, Warm Bodies looks like a fun film that will attract people who were not into the Twilight Saga

The Host

Plot and Cast: The Host is a sci-fi thriller about Melanie Stryder (Saorise Ronan), one of the last remaining humans on Earth after a parasitic alien race dominates the planet, and her human love interest Jared Howe (Max Irons). Melanie's body is taken over by an alien soul ("Wanda"), which ends up bonding with her and sets out to help free other humans. The film is based on a novel by Stephenie Meyer, the same author who wrote the Twilight Saga. The Host is directed by Andrew Niccol and also stars Diane Kruger, Jake Abel, William Hurt and Frances Fisher.

Release Date: March 29, 2013

Will Twilight Fans Like It: Without a doubt, Twilight fans loyal to Meyer will line up to see the host when it hits theaters in March. The story has the perfect combination of supernatural-human relationships and love conquers all that will surely attract viewers who are feeling the void left behind by the vampire love saga.
