As soon as The Walking Dead's mid-season finale has aired, fans were mired in speculation about the fate of the Dixon brothers, Rick's ability to keep it together, Andrea's allegiance, and more. Now it's the casts' turn to chime in on how they foresee the last half of the season playing out. Let's take a look at the show's horizon, character by character.

Rick (Andrew Lincoln): " I was fascinated to see [Rick's] breaking point in this season. In the second half of the season, you realize that Rick is this brutal ruthless leader that is uncompromising, so when we hit the governor there is a match."

Glenn (Steven Yeun): "There's been a ton of action in this first half and for the second half now we're seeing what they're capable of and what they're turned into really. For Glenn, I see this continued trajectory of asserting himself and growing up, but everyone is capable of letting their emotions drive them over anything."

The Governor (David Morrissey): "We start to see the real birth of the governor that people will know really. He literally doesn't care anymore. Because, last he had something to live for. Then, he had a sense of purpose, a sense of humanity. As soon as he loses that, that goes, and that makes him a much more dangerous man...The journey up to this point gives him a lot of opportunity for change in the next half, and its about whether there's redemption in him."

Merle (Michael Rooker) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) Dixon: "Me and my brother have gone through a lot. It's us against the world again, that's the way it's always been," says Rooker.

Michonne (Danai Gurira): "I think the idea of reconnecting with people a little more willingly is really what you're going to see."

Carol (Melissa McBride): "I hope that she continues to seek out and create her usefulness."

Carl (Chandler Riggs): "[We are going to] try to [make Carl] as a very capable member of the group that is actually contributing," says series creator Robert Kirkman.

Andrea (Laurie Holden): "Just because one man falls doesn't mean everyone else has to. I want her to fight for the people and feel even more inspired and empowered to do the right thing."

Maggie (Lauren Cohan): You want to trust your instincts but you have been burned so many times, you don't know if you can...Maggie doesn't see the point in being angry and taking murderous revenge on this group."
