The show, now on its 9th season, is down to its last 10 contestants, and the competition and speculations are heating up.

Who will go home this week? Will it be Korin Bukowski or Braiden Sunshine? The former had to sing for her life twice before, and a third Twitter save may have her labeled as "a three-time Twitter Save champ," as noted by TV Line.

"The whopping success of the week's seven most successful vocalists - who all qualified for the iTunes multiplier with their Top 10 chart positions - means there are only three likely options for the guillotine during tonight's results telecast (8/7c on NBC): Zach Seabaugh, Korin Bukowski and Braiden Sunshine," the news source observed.

It went on to predict that Korin will probably get the axe this week. It appears this is bound to eventually happen as she had been a bottom two favorite in the past weeks. Further, it's also been predicted that Braiden will probably follow her lead in the next week as his song "ranked 86 positions lower than his nearest competitor" on iTunes this week, which reportedly meant his followers may be losing their desire for his style.

And now, after the December 1 episode ended, it appears that TV Line's prediction, at least the first half of it, is spot on. Coach Gwen Stefani's ward, Korin, got eliminated from the line up, leaving only 9 contestants to proceed to the semifinals.

"That leaves Pharrell with one artist, Gwen with two and Adam and Blake each with three," Hollywood Life noted.

It appears Korin let her nerves got the better of her as she had forgotten her lyrics during her "Save Me" performance. According to TV Line, in another update, she missed about 60% of the lyrics to the rather apt "Try."

"Even Korin's greatest fans probably questioned whether the former med student wanted to be saved, or if rallying behind Braiden might be an act of mercy," the piece observed.

"As heartbreaking as it was to see her go under the circumstances, it was definitely the right time," Bustle's Jessica Molinari opined. "Bukowski's performances were beginning to flatline as her competitors were constantly improving. Her constant defeat was showing itself in her performances."

She also lost the uniqueness that she came into this competition with - and if that isn't a sign that it's time to go, then I don't know what is," she added.

During Tuesday's show, Coach Gwen wowed the crowd with a heartfelt performance of "Used to Love You," which earned her a standing ovation from fellow judges, Pharrell Williams and Blake Shelton. Sia also came on and performed "Alive" in her signature bewigged disguise.
