Adele believes that a collaboration between her and Drake would be a good idea. The Grammy winner is apparently eyeing on making a remix of “Hotline Bling” with the Canadian rapper.
Hollywood Life reported that the two stars are having a good year. The 27-year-old recently released her album “25,” with the hit song “Hello” immediately moving to the top spot on Billboard. Drake’s “Hotline Bling” has actually been the subject of various artists like Justin Bieber, Sam Smith and Sufjan Stevens, Rolling Stone reported.Rick Ross also came up with a remix of “Hello,” adding that the song may turn out to be one of the biggest records in history. Both singers came up with hits about making phone calls, so fans are looking forward to a joint project.
Vanity Fair stated that mash-ups of “Hello” and “Hotline Bling” have been spreading on the internet in the past few days. The two songs are actually among the most popular at the moment, which spurred fans to ask whether the two artists would consider doing a song or remix together. Apparently, Adele is a big fan of Drake. She is not actually unfamiliar with rappers since she was featured on a song by Tyga and was slated to appear on the last album of Wiz Khalifa. Hopefully, her dream of singing with a rapper will finally come true in the next few weeks.
“I really want us to do an official remix. I love Drake. I love Drake so much.” Adele told etalk of Canada. She added that she ordered the red coat that was in Drake’s music video of “Hotline Bling.” She added that she was celebrating the success of “Hello” with friends a few weeks ago and they had a video of her dancing to “Hotline Bling” on a coffee table.
Drake has yet to respond to Adele’s plan. Although he has not yet commented on the issue, Drake posted cartoon images on Instagram of both of them in their respective music videos, holding their phones. It is still unclear whether it would be the art for an upcoming album, but fans are getting more excited at the thought.
“Me and my main ting just coolin.” Drake seemed to be as willing to do a remix.
