Rihanna's "ANTI" album is slated for release on November 27. Surprisingly, Chris Brown is also releasing his newest album, "Royalty," on the same day. Could the two be feuding again and competing for the top spot?
It appears November has become 2015's official album releasing month. Artists probably see the month as a lucky one.
Albums released early this month include Carly Rae Jepsen's "Your Type" on November 3, Ellie Goulding's "Delirium" on November 6, Coldplay's "Adventure of a Lifetime" on November 6 and Sara Bareilles' "What's Inside: Songs From Waitress" on November 6, to name a few. Meanwhile, albums released toward the end aren't lacking as well. They include Justin Beiber's "Purpose", One Direction's "Made in the A.M.", and Cee-Lo Green's "Heart Blanche" all on November 13, as listed in Album of the Year.
The month of November is almost over, but it isn't really over without some drama. This includes the latest news of Rihanna's "ANTI" album being released on the same day as the release of her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown's "Royalty" album. Rihanna, 27, and Chris, 26, are going head-to-head on November 27 with their album releases.
Riri's "ANTI" will be released first, and exclusively, on Jay Z's subscription streaming music service, "Tidal." One week after "ANTI's" release on the streaming app, Rihanna's new album will have a worldwide release on December 4, Friday. The release will reportedly include hard, as well as digital copies.
Meanwhile, Breezy's "Royalty," which is also the name of his new baby daughter, will also drop on November 27, same day as the release of "ANTI" on Jay Z's "Tidal."
Rihanna and Chris Brown's infamous and controversial relationship in 2009 is widely known, especially when news broke out that the 26-year-old hit Riri several times, with lawsuits getting involved in the process.
That was in the past, and quite a long time ago that one would think the bad blood between the two is over. Now, Brown is reported to have changed his ways and he is now a family man, proud to be the father of a baby girl, according to Movie News Guide.
However, with the same release date of Rihanna's "ANTI" and Chris Brown's "Royalty," which he has named after his daughter, it is rumored that the two are competing for top spot. In addition, as noted by Hollywood Life, Brown's album art for "Royalty" is him holding his baby girl, while Rihanna's album art for "ANTI" is a little girl wearing an upside down crown.
