As the title suggests, Season 1 Episode 9 of “Scream Queens” focused on “Ghost Stories.” The show aired on Nov. 17, 2015, directed by Michael Uppendahl and written by Ryan Murphy.

Picking up from the events of Episode 8, Boone (Nick Jonas) wore a disguise but was caught by Chanel #3 (Billie Catherine Lourd). He tricked her into believing that he was a ghost and she actually believed him. Chanel (Emma Roberts) told the others that she was invited to the Thanksgiving dinner of the Radwell family. Chanel #3 also mentioned that she saw Boone.

Denise (Niecy Nash) was feeling anxious so she told the girls a ghost story. The first was about a man called “Candyman.” The second scary tale was about an old lady wielding a butcher’s knife. The third story was called “The Kappa,” which was about creatures residing in the sewer that attacks people when they sit down. The fourth story was called “The Red Cloak,” which focused on a ghost who stayed in bathrooms. When people visit the bathroom, they have to pick between a red or blue roll. Choosing the red roll will result to their throats getting slit and blood running down like a red cloak. Choosing the blue roll will result to death by strangulation. The victims will turn blue as if they had a blue cloak on, Entertainment Weekly wrote.

Chanel pushed Hester (Lea Michele) down the huge marble staircase of the Kappa House. A snap was heard which suggested that Hester might be dead. E Online cited a number of revelations in Episode 9. Hester claimed to be pregnant with Chad Radwell’s(Glen Powell) baby, so she might lose the baby with the big fall. The Red Devil is actually Boone’s brother. Boone’s sister is also the mastermind behind the serial murders from the beginning. Earl Grey (Lucien Laviscount) and Boone are dead.

The episode got scarier when the stories they shared started to happen for real. The Kappa myth, in particular, was shown to be a true story.

On the 10th episode of “Scream Queens,” titled, “Thanksgiving,” Chad will bring Chanel to the Radwell home from Thanksgiving, where she will meet his parents and brothers, Thad (Patrick Schwarzenegger) and Brad (Chad Michael Murray). Dean Munsch will also bring the Kappa House survivors, but Thanksgiving dinner will suddenly result to accusations on who is the real killer.

“Scream Queens” will air next on Nov. 24, 2015 on FOX.
