WARNING: POTENTIAL "GAME OF THRONES" SEASON 6 SPOILERS AHEAD!

Ian McShane is set to guest star in "Game of Thrones" Season 6, and in an interesting interview, he revealed that he's going to "bring somebody back," leaving fans jump to the conclusion that it could be Jon Snow.

Pop Goes the News sat down with McShane at the Los Cabos International Film Festival and asked about his character in "Game of Thrones" Season 6.

"I'll give you one hint. I am responsible for bringing somebody back that you think you're never going to see again. I'll leave it at that," McShane said.

"[It's] a one-off episode. That's why I did it. But I can't reveal anything, otherwise I will never work again," he added.

Being an older British actor who's extremely talented in delivering long monologues, Ian McShane could play any character in the series, but the interview may have revealed this mystery.

The first person that usually comes to mind when resurrection is the subject is of course, Jon Snow.

While McShane's character may be capable of bringing back Ned Stark's son from the dead, according to Comicbook.com, "Game of Thrones" Season 6 has already set Melisandre for the momentous task of bringing back to life one of the key characters in the popular series. In addition, the resurrection would likely take more than one episode, and McShane specifically said that he will only appear in one.

So far, there is one "Game of Thrones" Season 6 theory about Ian McShane's character that is gaining quick popularity.

According to multiple reports on recent "Game of Thrones" Season 6 spoilers, McShane will star as the Elder Brother, Septon Meribald, or some character that fuses both.

In Book 4, "A Feast For Crows," Brienne and Podrick will arrive in the Quiet Isle, which has a religious colony populated by monks who have all taken a vow of silence. The Elder Brother, their leader, takes them in and tells them the story of how he discovered the "Hound," Sandor Clegane, who was last seen dying in Season 5. The Elder Brother tells them that he buried the body, giving him peace in death. However, the monk leader is also said to have healing powers.

Slash Film said that readers noticed that one of the monks in Quiet Isle, a huge man with a pronounced limp, spits when knights are mentioned. Many fans believe it's the Hound, and the Elder Brother could have brought saved him or brought him back from the dead. In addition, Rory McCann, the actor playing the Hound, was reported to have been seen at the set of "Game of Thrones" Season 6.

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 airs on HBO in 2016.
