In an interview with Game Informer, Rockstar's vice president of creativity Dan Houser explained some of the more subtle nuances of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 5 game including inventory, the wanted system, and even licensed cars.

One of the most game-changing moves Rockstar is making with Grand Theft Auto 5 will be the introduction of three main protagonists instead of just one. Many missions will involve the abilities of all three characters, making players switch on the fly to complete the mission. So what does this mean in terms of the inventory and money each character has?

"Right now, each character has his own inventory and money, but Dan Houser explained that this is something Rockstar normally addresses late in the day so the system could change before the game's release next spring," writes Game Informer.

One of Grand Theft Auto's most beloved features is its wanted system. Gamers should remember the long hours spent with friends trying to see who could get the most stars and stay alive the longest as the army and FBI chased them down. As it stands now, it looks like the wanted system should be relatively the same as the older games.

"When I asked Dan Houser about this in the interview, he said he wasn't exactly sure how it would be changing yet. They are tweaking it a bit, but probably not much," Game Informer states.

Grand Theft Auto games are also known for their parodies, including the famous 'GetaLife' skyscraper in Grand Theft Auto 4's rendition of New York City. Cars in the game resemble classics such as Mustangs, but sport different monikers, and that doesn't seem like it will change, according to Game Informer.

"No, Rockstar isn't interested in licensing cars for its parody world."

Which makes sense, since licensing is only an unnecessary cost for a game that already has so much attention and won't really add anything to the actual game experience.

Grand Theft Auto 5 will be releasing worldwide in spring 2013. Gamers can already pre-order the game through Rockstar or any major video game retailer.
