Grand Theft Auto 5 fans everywhere, rejoice. Today, November 8, Game Informer released a digital version of their hands-on preview Grand Theft Auto 5. This lengthy 18-page spread gives readers more details about Grand Theft Auto 5 than Rockstar has revealed in a whole year. Here's a quick overview of the new information.

For starters, the article reveals there will be three main playable characters and players will be able to switch between them at any time. Each has his own special perks which you can utilize even in the same mission.

The main characters include Michael, an ex-con who moved out west and is the narrator of the first trailer; Trevor, an ex-soldier and apparently a "drugged out psychopath; and Franklin, a young and ambitious repo man. The three can be seen on Game Informer's cover pictured above.

The world this time will be bigger and more immersive than ever. Game Informer describes the Los Santos as "the biggest open world Rockstar has created to date." It's also being billed as being bigger than Grand Theft Auto 4, Red Dead Redemption, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas combined.

As with any new Grand Theft Auto, the missions will be more varied, and the fact that you may have to use three characters to complete them means that much of it should be new for Grand Theft Auto fans.

There will also be more ways to entertain yourself outside of the campaign. There will be a full golf course, planes, more vehicles and weapons than ever, and even scuba diving. Also, your main playable characters will lead their own lives when you aren't playing them, so switching back to them at a random time may yield a few surprises.

Stay tuned for a more in-depth look at all these features, and don't forget that Rockstar will be releasing a new trailer next week, on November 14.
