It's been officially over a year now since Grand Theft Auto 5 was announced by Rockstar. Other than a handful of screenshots and one trailer, Rockstar has refused to release any more information about the next installment in the successful Grand Theft Auto series. Luckily, if all the evidence adds up, gamers should be getting a new trailer next month, in November.

For starters, Rockstar announced the game on October 25, 2011. The first trailer debuted soon after, on November 2. Since then, Rockstar hasn't shown off any official gameplay footage. Worse, there's still no release date, although retailers and analysts are leaning toward a Q1 2013 launch sometime around March.

Rockstar did release the first piece of official Grand Theft Auto 5 artwork a couple days ago, and added this tantalizing bit to their post:

"Lots of info coming next month. Get ready."

Other than a few posts about the game, what else could that point to but a trailer?

Also, we recently got word that Grand Theft Auto 5 was indeed playable, and that Game Informer editor-in-chief Andy McNamara had gotten to spend some time with a hands-on demo at Rockstar's New York headquarters.

"In NYC, about to check out December's cover game #GTAV," McNamara tweeted.

Rockstar even recently asked gamers to send in their suggestions for multiplayer. Development of the game is clearly underway, and if Rockstar said it themselves that more info is coming out next month, there's a very highly likely chance a new trailer should surface before the end of November. Not exactly as soon as you might have hoped for, but for all the Grand Theft Auto fans out there, it's still something to look forward to.
