Big Machine Records has released Taylor Swift's latest album on Monday titled "1989" amid reports of widespread leaks of some of the songs from online music-sharing sites two days before its official launch.

Heavy reported that a number of Taylor Swift fans, most of whom have been expressing their enthusiasm on Twitter for the album's official release, have already heard some of the songs online when it was leaked temporarily on Friday.

The first track from "1989" that hit YouTube was "Blank Space," but Heavy detailed that Big Machine Records pulled the plug on it after.

Vulture hinted that that the original leak could have come from Target stores, which has the right to the exclusive release of Taylor Swift's latest album.

But instead of the 13 tracks in the "1989," the original leak has 19 tracks in it including three bonus tracks and three songwriting voice memos from Taylor Swift, details Vulture.

The report even insinuated that the paranoid leaker may actually be a French Canadian as he even titled the songs as numbered "pistes," which is French word for tracks.

USA Today pointed out that music industry experts believe that the leak would not have an effect on the sales of Taylor Swift's "1989."

Back in 2012, tracks on Swift's last album "Red" was also leaked prior to its official release but it hardly made an impact on its sales. The album went on to sell 1.23 million copies right on its first week, reports USA Today.

Aside from the fact that it is not just her that had to deal with leaked music on the internet but other big name artists too, another thing going for Taylor Swift is that her fans are extremely loyal, observes Heavy.

Swifties (that's how Taylor Swift fans call themselves) should also expect amazing Taylor Swift prizes when they purchase the album, aptly titled to indicate the singer's birth year.

Taylor Swift will be actively promoting her album on "Good Morning America" and "The Voice" this week.

Of the 13 official cuts to "1989," here are the top five which have been getting rave reviews from fans and music enthusiasts:

1. Shake It Off - The first single that was a smashing success. Slate even has this for a review: "If you haven't heard this haters-gonna-hate earworm yet, you've been on Mars."

2. Welcome to New York - A synth-pop NYC anthem, which according to Slate, dwells about Taylor Swift's evolution into full-on pop.

3. Out of the Woods - A ballad that tells about breaking out of style, notes Slate.

4. Blank Space - It would not be hitting the internet first if it was not a good cut. It's about Swift playing as a naive heartbreaker this time around.

5. Style - The third cut from the album, the song details about timeless fashions, Slate says.
