Theo James and Miles Teller have said that they will not let the fans down for the upcoming "Divergent" film.
The two actors told MTV that after Comic-Con that they realized they had a huge responsibility as actors for the upcoming film adaptation. Teller said, "We're not going to let them down," while James added, "We're still discovering."
The actors also shared some thoughts about their characters. "You can't really describe it, you feel it. So if you ever come to set, you'll know when I'm in the room, just kind of lurking, lingering, a little uncomfortable," Teller said of his character Peter.
As for James, he said Four was really sensual. "[He's] kind of friendly, but sexually aggressive." Teller added ,"Four is a powerful figure in literature and in human form," he said.
The actors also commented on what they hoped would happen in the third book, which has yet to come out. James said, "I think I die but in a kind of existential way. So I become a ghost, and I'm haunting but in a really sexy way."
Teller added, "See, that's what I thought too. Once the third book ends, it picks back up and it's Peter's world. It's Peter's story from there on out. Sexy Ghost [Four] is not allowed in my house. I lock the door on Sexy Ghost."
"Divergent" takes place in a future world where people are divided into factions based on personality. When teenager Tris is warned she is divergent and will never fit into any one group, she discovers a conspiracy to destroy all divergents.
Summit is slated to release movie on March 21, 2014. The film also stars Shailene Woodley, Kate Winslet, Jai Courtney, Maggie Q, Ashley Judd, Tony Goldwyn and Ray Stevenson.
