What started out as an innocent man's attempt to alert bank personnel of possible danger led to his very own arrest.
50-year old Robert Gursky was quick to alert bank personnel of a customer carrying a gun inside of a bank in Glastonbury, Connecticut. With a piece of paper, he quickly handed a note to the teller. The note read "gun."
What happened next was Gursky getting arrested for and charged with breach of peace.
It turns out that the customer carrying a gun inside of the bank had no malicious intentions and was in fact, permitted to carry it. Upon receiving the "gun" note from Gursky, the teller immediately activated the bank robbery's protocol. The police arrived in no time, interviewed poor Gursky and had him arrested.
"He (Gursky) was trying to relay to the teller (that) someone had a gun," Glastonbury Police Agent Kevin Szydlo told United Press International. Gursky was reportedly released but scheduled to appear on court September 25.
