The trailer to "American Hustle" premiered on "Good Morning America" on Wednesday.

The film is being distributed by Sony and is one of the most anticipated of year. Directed by David O. Russell and starring Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner, the movie tells the story of a notorious financial con artist (Bale) and his mistress/partner in crime (Adams) who are forced to work with an out-of-control federal agent (Cooper) to turn the tables on other con artists, mobsters, and politicians. At the epicenter of the entire tale is the passionate and volatile leader of the New Jersey state assembly (Renner) who is also the local hero and mayor of impoverished Camden.

The movie reunites the director with "Silver Linings Playbook" stars Lawrence, Cooper and Robert De Niro. It also reunites Russell with Adams and Bale after "The Fighter."

Cooper was last seen in "The Place Beyond the Pines" with Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes and "The Hangover Part 3." He will next star in "Serena."

Bale last appeared in "The Dark Knight Rises" and will next be seen in "Out of the Furnace," as well as an untitled Terrence Malick film.

Adams recently appeared as Lois Lane in "Man of Steel" and will next appear in Spike Jonze's new film "Her" alongside Joaquin Phoenix.

Renner last appeared in "The Avengers" and "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters," and will next star in "Kill the Messenger."

Lawrence is currently shooting "X-men: Days of Future Past." She will next reprise her role as Katniss in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" and will appear in "Serena" also alongside Cooper.

"American Hustle" also stars Louis C.K., Alessandro Nivola, Elisabeth Rohm, Dawn Olivieri, Jack Huston, Michael Pena and Robert De Niro. The movie is scheduled for a release on Dec. 13 in limited release and nationwide on Dec. 25.
