Actress Minka Kelly has yet to comment on an alleged sex tape floating around for sale. The tape features Kelly and an ex-boyfriend and is being shopped to the highest bidder.
According to TMZ, the footage is dated back to 1998. Kelly might have been underage at the time of filming, as music from singer Brandy's Never Say Never can be heard in the background. The album was released on June 8, 1998, only 16 days before Kelly's 18th birthday. If it is proven the film features a 17-year-old Kelly, the tape can be considered as child pornography.
It is unconfirmed who's attempting to sell the video, but as the footage was filmed 14 years ago, people can rule out former ex-boyfriends Derek Jeter, Jake Gyllenhaal, or Wilmer Valderrama as the man featured with Kelly. The seller could face jail time if Kelly was filmed underage.
The 30-minute sex tape is reported to have had "impressive production-quality" with the camera connecting to a TV monitor. Additionally, the sex tape was filmed in New Mexico.
Kelly, known for her roles in NBC's Friday Night Lights and ABC's reboot of Charlie's Angels, she's set to start in the biopic The Butler, portraying former First Lady Jackie Kennedy. The Butler is about a White House butler who served eight American presidents over the course of three decades. The film features a star-studded cast with Alan Rickman, Nicole Kidman, Forest Whitaker, Melissa Leo, Vanessa Redgrave, Jane Fonda, and Oprah Winfrey, among many more. The Butler is expected to be released in 2013.
More recently, Kelly is featured in Maroon 5's new single "One More Night" as young mother whose boyfriend, played by the band's lead singer Adam Levine, seems to put more attention to his boxing career than his new family.
