TV's big weekend is right around the corner. This year's San Diego Comic-Con will host a wide array of television series as the actors share insight on new upcoming seasons and episodes, hand out autographs and share some amusing anecdotes with their fans. As the date approaches, more details regarding how certain series will orchestrate their panels and which actors will be present help fuel the excitement.

One series in particular is bound to draw a massive crowd, and author George R .R. Martin has recently confirmed details about the "Game of Thrones" panel. For starters, he announced that the panel will take place on July 19 from 2:50-3:45 in Hall H. He also confirmed that he himself would be in attendance alongside executive producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss. He also promised fans an autograph session at the Warner Bros. booth, appeasing avid fans eager to meet their favorite characters in person.

"I am not on any panels besides the one for 'GAME OF THRONES,' nor will I be doing any readings (come to worldcon for that), but there should be plenty of chances for anyone who wants me to deface their books, maps, games, videotapes, or body parts with my illegible scrawl," he wrote on his website. "But PLEASE, if you want my autograph, come to one of these four signings. Don't stop me in the hotel lobby or on the street or in a restaurant when I am trying to have dinner."

In addition to Martin and the the executive producers, cast members John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Rose Leslie (Ygritte) and Richard Madden (Robb Stark) will join the Comic-Con panel.

The countdown has begun. "Game of Thrones" may not return to HBO until next spring, but the San Diego Comic-Con will certainly help scratch your itch.
