It's remarkable to think that season 3 of "Game of Thrones" is already coming to a close. It seems like yesterday fans were gearing up for the highly anticipated premiere, and now it's almost over. It's been a remarkable season thus far. As we look back, we've seen our favorite characters come a long way. Jon Snow has become a man, Arya Stark has proven herself an even greater warrior, and Jaime Lannister has shown his vulnerability and concern for others, just to name a few. As we approach the finale, Kings Landing, and all of Westeros for that matter, is on the brink of disaster. Although things are winding down, there are still three episodes remaining to tie up season 3's loose ends, and here's what fans can expect from next week's episode, "Second Sons."

It's wedding season in Kings Landing, and in this week's episode we'll see Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) tie the knot. Neither of them are too happy with the arrangement, but when Tywin Lannister (Charles Dance) insists, there's little one can do. However not all is lost. Tyrion and Sansa are both very reasonable people, a rarity in Kings Landing, and will come to terms with their situation and make the best of it.

Meanwhile, Daenerys  (Emilia Clarke) will be beefing up her arsenal with another 200,000 slaves. Between her massive army and fire-breathing dragons, she will be unstoppable as she sails across the Narrow Sea with victory in her heart and blood in her eyes. Although it would appease "Game of Thrones" fans, it's unlikely that she will be planning the same fierce tactics that she pulled during her last slave purchase.

Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) has proven herself yet again to be tougher than she looks, and in "Second Sons," she'll take it a step further. After she's kidnapped by The Hound (Rory McCann), her true warrior spirit will be put to the test when she's given the opportunity to smash his head in with a rock. The preview teases at the gruesome scene, but fans will have to wait until Sunday to see the result.

"Game of Thrones" airs Sunday nights on HBO. Watch a brief preview of "Second Sons" below.
