It's crazy to think that season 3 of "Game of Thrones" is already winding down. The premiere feels like it was yesterday, yet there are only three episodes remaining, and Kings Landing couldn't be in worse shape.

This week's episode, titled "Second Sons," will prove pivotal to the series as wedding season comes to Kings Landing. There are three weddings on the horizon, all of which will alter to balance of power in Westeros. In "Second Sons," Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) will obey his father and marry Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), leaving her devastated with the prospect of living in Kings Landing longer than she had originally hoped. Not to mention, she'll be spending the night with Tyrion after the wedding. At first, this may sound unfortunate for Sansa, but Tyrion is likely to cater to her needs and hatch a plan that's best for both of them.

By end of the season we will also witness the arranged marriage between Edmure Tully (Tobias Menzies) and Roslin Frey (Alexandra Dowling), which will fortify the Robb Stark's (Richard Madden) army as he prepares to sack Kings Landing.

Then, it's the wedding of all weddings, known as the Purple Wedding. It will hopefully take place during the season finale, however we may have to wait until season 4. King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) and Margaery (Natalie Dormer) will finally unite the Tyrells and Lannisters, but in typical "Game of Thrones" fashion, the wedding will end in disaster when someone poisons Joffrey. Finally.

In the meantime, King Joffrey will once again go on a tirade after someone lets the wrong words slip past their lips during this week's episode. In the promo, a furious Joffrey stands and responds to the person who dared to challenge the king's integrity. We're not sure who stands up to the tiny tyrant, but we know that Tyrion and Joffrey have had longstanding issues. Although it's unlikely the king could publically execute the master of coin, in Kings Landing, where there's a will, there's a way.

Meanwhile, Arya (Maisie Williams) is back on the road, this time accompanied by The Hound (Rory McCann). Along the trail, Arya proves herself as a vicious warrior as she tries to smash a man's head in with a large stone as he's sleeping.

Episode 8 of "Game of Thrones" will air Sunday, May 19 on HBO. Watch the promo for "Second Sons" below.
