The 911 tape in which a flustered Sharon Osbourne requested a fire truck rush to her house has been released, which could be a clue as to what pushed her to leave her husband Ozzy.
TMZ posted the audio of the English reality TV star's 911 call on January 17 at 4:45 a.m. to report a fire in her home. Her husband, rocker Ozzy Osbourne, can be heard in the background, but it is not clear what he is saying.
"We had a fire in my room, it was a candle. My husband put it out, but I want to be sure," Sharaon told the dispatcher, adding that the candle set the table on fire.
Sharon left the home on April 18 fueling rumors that she and her husband had split. The couple has denied rumors that they are ending their 30-year marriage. A source close to the couple told TMZ that Sharon just wants to show Ozzy some tough love by pushing him to stay clean.
In an apology note posted on his Facebook page on Tuesday, the English rock legend confessed to going on drinking and drug binges over the last year and a half, but says he has been sober for the last 44 days.
"I was in a very dark place and was an a**hole to the people I love most, my family," wrote the 64-year-old rocker. "However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober."
He also addressed rumors that he and his wife Sharon were splitting up. "Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing," added the Black Sabbath singer.
He ended the note writing, "I would like to apologize to Sharon, my family, my friends and my band mates for my insane behavior during this period.........and my fans. God Bless, Ozzy."
