'Modern Family’ Star Sophia Vergara Teams up with Rooms-To-Go for New Furniture Line

Sofia Vergara is more than just a pretty face - she is an intelligent businesswoman that has built a growing empire. Best known for her comedic role as Gloria Pritchett on the Emmy Award winning show 'Modern Family,' Vegara was the highest paid actress on television last year raking in an estimated $19 million. She also co-founded Latin World Entertainment that has become a multi-million dollar service company for the Hispanic community. In addition to multiple endorsement deals with CoverGirl and Pepsi, the model-actress launched a self-titled collection of women's apparel and home decoratives at K-Mart. Now, Vergara can add furniture designer to her resume as she recently inked a deal with Rooms-To-Go.

While this is Vergara's first furniture collection, it definitely is not her first time working with Rooms-To-Go. Her relationship began with the affordable retailer nearly two decades ago when Sofia first came to the United States. A single mother at the time and on a budget, Sofia furnished her first apartment with Rooms-To-Go furniture and has since returned throughout the years for more finds.

"I love beautiful furniture and am so excited to be working with Rooms-To-Go to create my own furniture collection," notes Vergara.

Coming to Rooms-To-Go showrooms in late fall, the Sofia Vergara collection will feature furniture pieces for the bedroom, living room and dining room along with home accessories. Her hopes for her new collection are to provide affordable yet stylish pieces for the home that contemporary design lovers can enjoy. She and her team are currently in search for suppliers to bring her visions to life.

This will be Rooms-To-Go's second celebrity venture as they currently carry the Cindy Crawford Home Collection. In its eighth year of partnership, their hope is to create a distinct design voice for Sofia's collection that will resonate with their customers, and hopefully have the same longevity.

Sofia and team are currently searching for suppliers for her new collection.
