Walmart has revealed their Black Friday sales, and included in the many deals are several big price cuts and discounts on some of the games and tech that gamers will be desperate to get their hands on. This includes discounts on many current-gen items as well as some next-gen items as well.
According to a Walmart flyer obtained by IGN, the retailer will begin their sales on Thursday, Nov. 28 at 6 p.m., and will have one hour guarantees on select items. This means Walmart will guarantee the price of these items for anyone, even if they run out of stock, and will give customers a voucher for the sale price.
With the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One released at the same time as Walmart's sale, previous gen consoles will have significantly reduced prices. A 4GB Xbox 360 will be on sale for $99, and a PlayStation 3 bundle that includes The Last of Us and Batman: Arkham Origins will be on sale for $199. The new Nintendo 2DS will also be on sale for $99. However, none of these items have the one hour guarantee, meaning once they are out of stock, Walmart will not honor the sales price on those items.
The big box store also will offer customers several recently released games for under $40, with the one hour guarantee on their price on Nov. 28. This includes Call of Duty Ghosts, Assassin's creed 4: Black Flag, Skylanders Swap Force, Disney Infinity, Batman: Arkham Origins, NBA 2K 14 and Grand Theft Auto 5. These represent some of the strongest games to come out at tail end of 2013, and are available both for the PlayStation/Xbox 360 generation of consoles and their next-gen replacements, so users should jump at the chance to get ahold of these blockbuster titles.
Besides all these sales, Walmart will offer several blanket discount deals that cover a wide range of gaming hardware. Xbox 360 controllers will be $10 off, and PlayStation 3 controllers will be $15 off. Turtle Beach gaming headsets will be available for $39.96. A huge selection of video games on many different platforms will also be on sale ranging from $10 to $25.
