Call of Duty: Ghosts has been a huge success for publisher Activision, and now users can expand their gameplay experience through the new Call of Duty app available on Android, iOS, and Windows devices, according to Gamespot.

The new app is free to download, and has many features that will help out serious Call of Duty players. Players will be able to join, manage and create clans for the game on their mobile devices. Players will also be able to design their character for the game as well as their weapon loadout for multiplayer. This will all culminate in the Nov. 25 launch of Clan Wars, a new multiplayer mode that will combine the mobile app with challenges in the main game in which clans will compete over different areas and get prizes for winning these clan wars.

But the Call of Duty App does more than help players with building up their clans and designing their soldier. Players will be able to track their stats in the game on the app, in case you need to find out your kills to death ratio while you're out and about. The Rally Up feature will allow players to receive push notifications about when friends are starting up matches. The app will also have a news feed to keep players up to date on the latest happenings of Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Much like other mobile apps for next-gen games, the Call of Duty app will have second screen functionality. However, this second screen feature will not immediately be made available. Players can change their loadout on the app while waiting for multiplayer matches to start, and after the match is done players can look up a detailed profile of their opponents after the match is through. It is not clear when these features will be added to the game, but they will be a big boost to players once it is launched.

Look out for more news about Call of Duty and the Call of Duty app right here as the game comes to next-gen consoles.
