The Tokyo Game Show is one of the biggest international video game conferences of the year, and the 2013 edition of the event is schedule to happen Sept. 19-22. Many different video game publishers and developers are going to be at the event, but it looks as though Sony is going to be the biggest presence at the show, considering that they are prepared to bring a huge number of game to the event.

Sony is prepared to show off over 50 games at the event, according to a report from CVG. These 50 games will range from first party games such as Gran Turismo 6 and Knack as well as third party titles such as "Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13" and Capcom's "Deep Down." Of the titles shown, ten will be PlayStation 4 titles, giving fans at the event early access to some of the most anticipated games of the coming year. The rest of the titles will be games coming to the still active PlayStation 3 and the handheld PlayStation Vita.

Not only will Sony will a heavy presence over the Tokyo Game Show floor, but they will also be delivering the keynote speech of the event, entitled "The World PlayStation 4 Creates." This speech will be delivered by three of the most respected men in the industry; Sony Computer Entertainment president and group CEO Andrew House, senior vice president Masayasu Ito, and Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida. It will be interesting what the three men will say during the event, and if they reveal some new information about the console ahead of the Nov. 15 release date for the PlayStation 4.

It was recently announced that the PlayStation 4's biggest rival, the Xbox One, would be launched on Nov. 22, one week after the PlayStation 4. This means that both Sony and Microsoft will be competing to get the most attention from gamers, and the Tokyo Game Show represents the best chance for Sony to gain the upper hand. After all, the Xbox line has struggled mightily in Japan, where Sony and Nintendo rule, so the PlayStation 4 has a chance to really shine without much competition in Tokyo. Perhaps Sony will take this opportunity to detail new IP's that will be coming to their systems, as well as next-gen entries to some popular franchises that gamers will be eager to partake in.

Look out for more PlayStation 4 and Tokyo Game Show news as the start date for the event draws closer.
